Meet Patrick L. Riggs

President and CEO

Patrick L. Riggs is the President and CEO of P2-Riggs Capital, Inc., bringing over 25 years of expertise in corporate finance, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), capital markets, and international business operations. Known for delivering practical and results-driven solutions, Patrick excels in guiding businesses through complex financial and strategic challenges while fostering strong, lasting relationships with clients and financial partners.

A Dynamic Corporate Finance Leader

Patrick founded both P2 Capital Holdings and Riggs Capital, Inc., where he advises small to mid-sized companies on financing strategies, corporate structuring, and M&A transactions. His extensive experience includes working as a principal investment banker, previously holding Series 7 securities licenses, and participating as both an insider and principal in numerous U.S. and international M&A buyouts, as well as reverse-merger public company transactions.

Patrick has collaborated with private equity and credit firms, in addition to both commercial and non-bank lenders.

Global Business Experience

Born in Italy and of Greek/European heritage, Patrick brings an international perspective to his work, having conducted business across North America, Asia, and Europe. His industry experience spans diverse sectors, including import/export operations in food, energy (with a focus on renewables), oilfield equipment, industrial services, and medical products.

Educational Background

Patrick is a lifelong learner with a solid academic foundation. He attended the University of North Dakota and completed executive programs at Harvard Business School (2019–2020), earning certificates and university credits in Business Analytics, Economics, and Financial Accounting.
